Auto Warranty Scams

I don’t know what I did to deserve this, but this sh*t is pissing me the f off!

For goodness sakes, every day, I get phone calls on my cell, and my ultra-unlisted home phone number from scammers trying to schneider me into getting a new warranty for my rig.

The first time I got a call, I called the local MB dealer, and proceed to tear the manager there a new one.

When he was able to get a word in edgewise, he said it was not them, and that even if they were going to do so, they would have sent me a letter on company letterhead.

Nevertheless, the phone calls have kept on coming, now with demon-dialers, and no way to be removed from their lists.

To crown it all, both my cell phones have started receiving calls!

A few minutes ago, I got a beauty of a call: the caller ID registered a number from England.

Now I ask: are you freakin’ kiddin’ me?

Now I know it couldn’t have come from there, that it was probably a Caller ID spoof.

Still…

Cannot say it enough on this blog:

Caveat Emptor.

Buyer, beware!
