The Xbox 360 is da bomb!
If there is one single must-have recreational device I must have this Christmas, it must be the Xbox 360.
Tri-core! Unified shader! Xbox!
Cannot wait!
This brings me to the (seeming) dichotomy in the effectiveness of the Xbox marketing/branding department versus the Windows marketing departments.
The Xbox team seems to have a pulse, pun intended, on their target audience, while the Windows marketing , well, doesn't seem to have one.
While I know that the very nature of the Xbox, being a fixed-function device, lends itself to having a focussed maeketing message, the subtle way Xbox marketing is evolving from just delivering a message for a gaming machine to positioning the Xbox as the home entertainment gateway, should make the Windows marketing team sit up!
Team Xbox, IMO, is transitioning the message so smoothly, you cannot help but be impressed at the way all the added capabilities of the new Xbox 360 were slipstreamed into the specs of the device.
Impressive!
An I am impressed
