One of the many free tools available to IT managers from Microsoft is Network Monitor.
Last week, Microsoft released Network Monitor v3.1.
This new version, for the first time, allows for wireless sniffing! How cool is that? It also includes Right-Click Add to Filter, a much easier way of creating filters, and is Microsoft Update enabled. A list of all the new or improved features in NetMon v3.1 is below:
