2010 HP StorageWorks Tech Day

I am in Houston for the 2010 HP StorageWorks Tech Day.

With a very good group of attendees, I fully expect to be immersed in everything storage as defined by HP. Coming on the heels of HP’s Converged Infrastructure Architecture, this StorageWorks Tech Day is bound to be very informative, and I believe some surprises and debuts are planned.

Including their Converged Infrastructure strategy, we will be diving deep into StorageWorks offerings such as the EVA, the x9000, the P2000, and the P4000. I am hopeful that we shall see signs of life from the ProCurve unit as well.

HP is also sponsoring a Tweetup at the Brix Wine Cellar minutes away from the HP Houston campus. A lucky winner will be going home with a brand spankin’ new HP StorageWorks x510 Data Vault.

As usual, I have disqualified myself from participation in the giveaway. I will however, participate in the Tweetup.

Including myself, the following bloggers (with their Twitter IDs) will be present:

I will be liveblogging the event, with Rich Brambley doing the same at www.vmetc.com.

I have also created a Twitter list (http://www.twitter.com/johnobeto/hpstoragetechday) for this event here.
