The whirlwind Windows Azure infoblast has begun, and I must confess, I find myself loving the amount and detail of information I am gleaning about this new platform.
As befits the future of Microsoft, which Windows Azure is, no less, there is a ton of information here. I have sat in on sessions devoted to Azure until my eyes are bleeding.
I think the best decision I have made is to let my lead developer to attend in order to get a report from him. My regret is that I didn’t invite Robert McLaws of Interscape Technologies to attend as a consultant to Logikworx. His trusted insight would have been invaluable.
That said, the view from 40,000 ft is that Windows Azure, if well executed, is going to not only be a game-changer, but also a product that revives MSFT, the stock.
