As first reported by my buddy, Tom Warren, at Neowin, a few thousand Hotmail accounts had been compromised.
Subsequent follow-up investigations got Microsoft to reveal the actual number of accounts exposed.
It is somewhat remarkable how many people fell prey to these phishermen (gender in-specific).
