I have liked and used Diskeeper products forever.
Therefore, when Colleen Toumayan, VP for Public Relations at Diskeeper offered me an opportunity to try the client and server versions of the new Diskeeper 2010 ahead of CES 2010, I jumped at it!
Diskeeper is a very good product.
As we move into ever-larger drives, disk fragmentation is going to become more of an issue, with our systems becoming more unresponsive as the drives become hopelessly fragmented.
Moreover, the disk defragmentation program included with Windows, while capable, is only just sufficiently adequate, a probable victim of antitrust saber-rattling or laws.
Diskeeper 2010 resolves the fragmentation issue with a fast, able product.
