Shiny New Things: Dual 30-inch HP ZR30w Monitors

Coincident with the time I was favored with the dual-Intel Xeon ‘Westmere’ HP z800 Personal Workstation to review, I was also sent a couple of monitors worthy to review the monster workstation with.

This time, the Humungosaurs of 30-bit color, the 30” HP ZR30w monitors were sent to me.

Capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors over 4.1 million pixels, these babies are currently adorning my desk at The Orbiting O’Odua.

They will be driven hard by the NVIDIA Quadro FX5800 and the NVIDIA Tesla C2050 GPU combos in the z800, both with 4 GB of RAM each.
