12 Cores? Erhh, can I have a DL385 G7, please?

While I was at HP for the StorageWorks Tech Day, AMD released their 12-core 'Magny-Cours’ Opteron microprocessors.

Coincident with that release, HP released a new server, the DL385 G7, utilizing that processor.

Since I was at the HP campus, you know I just had to have more.

My flight back home just got called, but feast your eyes on this baby.

Bottom line, I have to perform a real world test of this server against a Westmere-equipped server. 

I will have more on this server family and AMD once I get home.
