HP EcoPOD 240A Performance-Optimized Datacenter

For the past couple of years, I have been jonesing for an HP Performance-Optimized Datacenter or POD.

As they are wont to, HP has continued development of the POD portable datacenter concept, moving from the use of basic, customized shipping containers to the heavily customized models from earlier, available in 20’ and 40’ specs.

As HP became more successful in these portable datacenters, several supposed rivals have emerged, all trying to replicate HP’s success with their versions of a POD, but all falling short.

Why?

Well, because all they have tried to do is perform basic mods on a shipping container, a process that, compared to HP’s PODs, is so 2007!

Well, as of today, color all those pretenders even more obsolete.

Today, HP announced and is shipping the EcoPod.

This is taking a reigning game-changer, attaching a warp drive to it, and accelerating the subsequent result to Warp Factor 9!

Folks, this isn’t your father’s Oldsmobile.

On your behalf, I am trying to obtain more information and a review of a POD.

Yes, a review!

Listen, who else but the Great John Obeto would ask for a review of an $8,000,000.00 (yes, $8 million dollars USD!) POD?

The things I do for science!
