While is is not like me to give props to the loops at #1, Infinite Loop, in Cupertino, I have to give them mungo props for having an impressive connection to their consumers.
Take the upgrade price for the recently-released Mac OS X, known as Snow Leper: $30 USD.
That is it.
$30.
Not a misprint.
They (Apple) probably still have their family pack too.
Contrast that with the nonsense coming out of Microsoft, where you have to be a financial contortionist to understand what you are upgrading from or what you can upgrade to. Or not.
I applaud Apple on this, and wonder if Microsoft could learn yet another consumer marketing and sales lesson here.
