Lenovo announces the AMD-powered ThinkCentre M75e

lenovoAMD seems to be on a roll lately, with some design wins in the server space, and this: the AMD-powered Lenovo ThinkCentre M75e.M75e_Family_01

Housed in both the nice mini tower case as the A63 and also in a new small form factor case, the M75e is a powerful, business-class device clearly optimized for SMBs.

In a departure, this is the first M-series system with AMD innards from Lenovo.

In a briefing last week, Lenovo spilled the beans on this system:

  • Up to a Quad-core AMD Athlon II processor
  • 4 DDR3 DIMM slots for up to 16 GB of RAM
  • AMD 760G +SB710 chipset
  • AMD RADEON 3000 series
  • Support for up to 4 monitors
  • Windows 7 Professional
  • Optional fingerprint-reader keyboard
  • On-board TPM

And that is just for starters!

We are going to be the recipients of a review unit soon, and we will bring you our experiences with it.

Moreover, I think a giveaway of this puppy might be in the offing soon.

Stay tuned.
