Nvidia Quadro FX5800 & Tesla 1060 GPUs

I have a confession to make: for the past few months, I have been tooling around these Intertubes in a mungo great HP z800 workstation with a wicked fast graphics subsystem, utilizing a formerly under-NDA combination of an Nvidia Quadro FX5800 graphics processor, aided by an Nvidia Tesla c1060 Computing Processor.

It has been quite pleasing, especially if you remember that the z800 is liquid-cooled!

For those asking, the system specs are below.

The HP z800 Personal Workstation, ‘John Obeto Special’:

  • HP Z800 Personal Workstation
  • Dual 3.3 GHz Intel Xeon w5590 CPUs
  • 24 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM
  • Nvidia Quadro FX5800 GPU, 4 GB RAM
  • Nvidia Tesla c1060 Computing Processor, 4 GB RAM
  • Liquid cooled, of course!

This is one heck of a workstation!

It is more than that: it is a beast.

However, my use of the product should let you know the heights (depths?) of my commitment to bringing you only the very best. You should know that no matter how hard, I will try to deliver for the team!

The gory details of this sublime workstation will be revealed shortly in our review of this product.
