Today, at Gnomedex, Microsoft announced the embedding of RSS technology into the forthcoming next-gen Windows, Longhorn.
This is a Big Deal!
I will have to think this one over for a while. But it is big. This is as big as when browser technology was integrated into Windows, IMO, pushing the innovations that has led to the ease of use of the Internet for Windows clients.
(Can you believe Microsoft published their extensions to RSS under Larry Lessig's Creative Commons License? They have truly grown up! Another reason I like these guys, always business, and to win!)
