Shiny New Things: Lenovo ThinkCentre a63 with dual ThinkVision monitors

In the AbsolutelyWindows/SmallBizWindows/Logikworx realm, HP rules.

From clients to servers to storage to scanners to printers, HP is about as ubiquitous as can be in everything we do, or architect, or define, or implement, or support.

However, a few weeks ago, I got a call from a Lenovite* who according to him, has “HAD ENOUGH!!!”

He believes that his (Lenovo) products are, in the very lease, on par with HP, and, in several instances, much better than HP.

After asking him to wash his mouth out with carbolic soap, he threw down the gauntlet: “I will send you Lenovo systems that I want you to review against comparable HP products.”

“Yeah, whatever,” said John.

Well, last week I got a delivery of the ThinkCentre a63 with accompanying dual ThinkVision 19” monitors.

I also just got a FedEx notification that the new ThinkCentre a70z all-in-one is on it’s way to moi.

I see the Lenovite wasn’t joking.

I like people with confidence in their products.
